Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a Custom Hatch?

The actual manufacturing time is based on our production capacity. Typical lead time is about ten weeks after design and approvals are complete.

What temperatures can it handle?

Stock Access Hatch seals are rated up to 250° F. To learn more about other available seals and ratings, contact PS Access Solutions for information.

Can I repaint a powder coated finish?

Yes. Properly prepare the hatch by sanding and roughing up the surface before painting.

Are hatches available in custom colors?

Standard finish is powder coat grey. RAL powder coat or industrial enamel finishes are available upon request. We can also ship the hatch primed for finishing at the site.

Can hatches fit on a curved surface?

Yes, we can manufacture a turndown hatch cut to the diameter of your surface.
